Via a 3 day train ride from California, Grandma Joan visited us just in time to see the beautiful fall colors. We had a lovely visit; we took her to many of our favorite spots in an attempt to convince her to move up here. Although, I think it might be a bit too cold for her liking. Oh, well, we tried! We also had a fun Halloween party at the Evans' house. The kids went trick-or-treating and brought back TOO much candy. This did not help me trying to cut-back on sweets at all! I asked for the Lord's help many a days following...hee, hee, hee.
